Northern Ireland Tourist Board
We were asked to create the new Northern Ireland Tourism Identity with Thinking Place.
Our focus was the incredible diversity of things to see and do in Northern Ireland. This couldn’t be carried in a single logo, so we created a visual identity through a system of symbols which champion variety, while providing a clear identity for Northern Ireland tourism.
The big idea was ‘confidently moving on’ with its design’s dynamic form emphasising the feeling of forward movement and a journey. This iconic system allows for sub-brands and identities to be easily created, which in themselves celebrate and illustrate a specific place or activity.
Applications we have designed include television, radio and print advertising, all printed marketing materials, a taxi-driver ambassador scheme and a series of events including the Tall Ships event in Belfast.
