Brand and titles update for the BBC
Asked to refresh the Eastenders television brand and sequence, we refined and retuned an already stellar sequence, deciding to recreate the whole sequence in HD. The latest mapping technology was used to create a new title experience which fused elements of live action, computer animation, satellite imagery and 3D mapping, giving a technical illusion of vast scale.
The combination of animating a blue river and adding new clouds takes the viewer out of reality into drama and ties the sequence in closer with the corporate brand of Eastenders.
