THE DEVIL’S HOUR
Our title story kicks off with purposefully chaotic imagery, which then comes together in a unifying vortex of time, depicted in a layered eye. Our eye vortex of time then acts as a clue, changing what it sees with each episode, giving the audience a glimpse of what’s to come.
Our sequence blends reworked footage from the drama with originally filmed scenes as it strives to express using a multitude of experimental and surprising techniques to create a somewhat otherworldly title story. These scenes collectively aim to draw us into the drama by visually playing with the consequences of overlapping and parallel time, which is one of the themes central to The Devil’s Hour.
The title’s purpose is to inform an audience in advance of some of the wonders, secrets and unique writing in this drama series and simply remind the audience from the onset that this is much more than a police procedural drama.
